Daniel’s passion, drive and commitment to improve the development industry is undeniable.

As an extremely motivated high achiever, Daniel’s career has accelerated, placing him in a position now where he not only holds down the highly demanding position of State Manager of national environmental consultancy Eco Logical, he also manages to find time to fulfil multiple voluntary roles on industry forums, whilst juggling post graduate university studies and sustaining a rigorous fitness regime.

Daniel’s burning desire to be at the forefront of industry issues and to have opportunities to influence outcomes within our development industry is commendable.

As a young leader, Daniel is not afraid to challenge entrenched ideas and advocate for changes that challenge the status quo to improve and promote innovation in our industry. In addition to being recognised for his voluntary roles with fire protection and environmental law, Daniel is an active member of UDIA WA’s Outlook Committee.

Daniel has seen first-hand the challenges that bushfire and ecological constraints place on development, both in greenfield and infill development settings. Collaborative in nature, he works with a range of partners in tandem to achieve the best streamlined and effective outcomes for land developments projects.

Daniel’s future goal of being a leader in the innovative provision of environment and bushfire consulting services to the land development sector, not only for WA, but nationally then internationally, is admirable.

Daniel continues to motivate young property development professionals via his public speaking at industry, school and career development events.

Taking on an Ambassadorial role through the UDIA Young Leaders Awards Programme will greatly assist him in achieving his goal of assisting development in WA’s urban and regional communities via the provision of high-quality advice and planning.

Daniel is a worthy winner of the UDIA Young Leader’s Award.
