About the Winner

Belinda Bentley’s enthusiasm, energy and passion for her work had the immediate attention of the judging panel who were impressed with her career and her persistence and the determination to not give up.

From working in a relatively conservative public sector, to creating her own business, she has held a variety of roles and led a vast array of projects across New South Wales. Her broader contribution to the community has seen her play a key role at a mental health organisation, become a guest lecturer and tutor to students at the University of Technology and mentor others to help grow their businesses.

Her “pay it forward” approach to significant philanthropic activities in community housing and arts sector, as well as board roles and other legacy outcomes has seen her become a highly respected and trusted advisor to a wide range of business partners.

Belinda is the type of person who has the ability to persuade and challenge current decision making at the highest level. It’s clear that she will leave a long-lasting legacy for future generations to come and that she is a noteworthy recipient of the UDIA National Women in Leadership award for 2021!
